Anyone know at what time transcripts update for weeklies and also the offset line?

    • From what I’ve read on a few other sites they update between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time. The offset line….I’m not sure. Its only ever updated for me on friday or Saturday if I remember correctly.

    • Thank you! @Amanda E ! Fingers crossed for and update tomorrow!

    • Im hoping I get DD instead of a check too 🤣 but I’ve seen a few people say they changed it

I got my transcripts in the mail today.
Is code 766 (credit to your account) the amount of the refund I will receive?

My whole refund was taken due to my husbands child support he is in prison so he had no income I live in Texas what are the chances of me getting my refund back???and is there a number I can call because every call I have placed I haven’t been able to reach a live person??

    • If you live in Texas it’s a community property state. So more than likely you will only recieve half of your refund back. I can’t say that 100% but from what I’ve read that seems to be the case.

    • You can call 18008290582 ext:652

    • You Will probably get 50/50

    • I live in TX. And my husband is the one who has past due CS & I’m the one who makes the majority of the money. They take roughly 20-25% total. They’ve only taken half when my husband made more. Since your husband is in prison and making nothing it will be probably close to what I get back. They don’t take as much when the injured spouse is the o…[Read more]

First time filing the IS form. I called since it’s been a month just to make sure they received it. The lady was polite but she said since we sent it in after we filed and it was the paper form. It would take 14 weeks to get ours! June 5th. It took her like half hour to tell me that. Than she said no reason to call back. We filed our taxes through…[Read more]

    • She told you the generic answer. When you send in your form after e-filing your taxes it takes up to 8 weeks normally. It says it it right on the IRS website. Not sure why she would tell you 14 weeks!

    • Yeah and she put me on hold twice… Took her half hour just to tell me that. She obviously didn’t want to actually help me… At least she confirmed they received it. She just wanted me off the phone.

    Anybody get any updates today?

  • Candice posted an update in the group Injured Spouse 23 hours, 48 minutes ago

I have a few questions, this is my first year filing IS. Does anyone have cycle code 20190805? Do anyone have the 570 code? If so what does that mean? Lastly, when I called the offset line its says I have one debt but it doesnt say the amount, what does that mean? Me and my husband both worked this tax year and he is the IS I owe student loans…[Read more]

    • If there is no amount it means that your refund hasn’t been offset yet. Once your refund is offset or scheduled to be, that information will update.

Do they only do direct deposits on Wednesdays?

Hello! I’m new to the group, but I’ve been reading everyone’s comments for weeks now and decided to share my series of unfortunate events. My husband(the injured spouse) and I e-filed with Turbo tax (return & IS claim) on 1/28. Accepted on 1/30 and IS was assigned to someone on 1/31! We had action code 1541 until 3/1 and WMR updated to ‘We have…[Read more]

    • I know after contacting them today, they can’t help you unless you have a shut off notice, eviction notice, or a repossession notice.

    • We are having some issues after a car accident and really need ours. Unfortunately we have stuff like this coming up if I don’t nake some bigger payments. Do you just call and tell them or how does that work?

  • Chelsie Bumgarner posted an update in the group Injured Spouse 1 day, 2 hours ago

Question: When I call the offset line it says there are two debts and the refund could be offset. One of us has the debt and the other is the one who makes all of the income. What I’m wondering is will I get a different message when they’re done with the IS form or does it not change if the IS is the only one with income?

  • Terri posted an update in the group Injured Spouse 1 day, 9 hours ago

Question: Our federal refund was offset for my student loans. Since my husband had 100% of the income last yr, we filed IS AFTER they took it. We mailed in the IS form, via certified mail. It was received by the IRS almost 2 weeks ago. What can I expect now? Am I waiting on a letter, or a WMR update? Can a tax advocate speed up the process?…[Read more]

    • Just called tax advocate, they can help you if you have an eviction notice, foreclosure, shut off notice, or repossession notice. Took almost three weeks for them to update they had received and assigned my IS notice. Watch transcripts or call to figure out when that is

  • LivinN'sunshine posted an update in the group Injured Spouse 1 day, 10 hours ago

Today marks 48 days since filing & being accepted. Hopefully like a lot of you we will get an update soon. Maybe even…A DIRECT DEPOSIT. 😳 Wouldn’t that be amazing?

  • Abs posted an update in the group Injured Spouse 1 day, 12 hours ago

Although I realize this won’t make anyone feel any better, I got into a discussion around the “water cooler” and found that people without IS are being cheesed as well. Simple returns, no deposits. Apparently this year is a drop the ball at the processing center all around

    • To be honest from what I’ve read on here and by calling myself. It seems like they are not properly training these agents to even tell you information that is routine. When you call and have to explain to and agent what a transcript is that says alot about how the system is working at the IRS. 5 weeks they still haven’t recieved my IS form I…[Read more]

Return was on hold for 12c letter, it’s now closed as of 2/18. Was told to wait an additional 6-8 for processing before my IS form is even assigned. E-filed on 2/5 I am so disappointed so tempted to call back
