      The PATH Act was NOT written to delay refunds. The purpose of the PATH Act was to extend, or make permanent, tax credits that were about to expire in 2017. Here’s a list of some of the extensions.

      Enhanced child tax credit made permanent.
      Enhanced American opportunity tax credit made permanent.
      Enhanced earned income tax credit made permanent.
      Extension and modification of deduction for certain expenses of elementary and secondary school teachers. (Removed by trump)
      Extension of deduction of State and local general sales taxes. (Removed by trump)

      And that’s just 5 of 93 extensions made by the PATH Act. Does it make us wait a little longer, sure, but without it we probably wouldn’t be getting refunds anyways.
