I was on hold for 17 minutes earlier and had to get off the phone, now I can’t get to even hold, just “All reps are busy.” I was going to call the bank, but Bob never actually told me the day it was sent, so I don’t know if it was Thursday or Friday and wanted to check with the state first. Sigh. I’ll try a couple more times then call the bank. Fingers crossed for something pending at least. Congrats to those that can see theirs!! It gives me hope.

My friend was told by Bob hers was sent the 14th. Hers just posted to her chime card about 5 minutes ago. I’m sure with the holidays things just are delayed. I’m frustrated but he wouldn’t be the state advocate if he wasn’t doing something for us. I’m sure we will have it this evening or tomorrow.
My kdor is still showing no movement, but I checked my bank and have a pending deposit for 02/20!! Thought I’d give a bit more information, good luck y’all it’s comin!

Ive been on the phone with my bank and they say absolutely nothing has came and if it was sent the 14th (like bob has informed me twice now) they would absolutely show something for it. They put a trace or something out to try to find it but Im pretty sure it was never sent. I tried calling the regular number for state but keep getting agents are busy message and it hangs up on me.
I have one or two deposits that never post until 10:45 AM, so I am waiting until then to call my bank then the State. I won’t call Bob this time, just see what the normal line says. If I can get through. There are far too many of us this year, it’s so frustrating!
Most certainly he lied. Last week he said I would have it Thursday. My bank doesn’t “hold” or “release” deposits .. a deposit comes in and is available right away.
I’m changing my witholding to 10 dependants so they can quit stealing out of my paychecks.My bank doesn’t hold anything. As soon as a DD comes in they put it in my available balance as a MEMO. I truly believe that Bob is lying to us.

Usaa is so stupid. They won’t post anything else today. Not going to post till tonight and it didn’t update last night because they were closed. What crap is this?! – _-

No movement. No money. I was going to call but not really in the mood to hear anymore BS about it. If they sent it when they said they did it would be there.. bottom line.

I sent Bob an email about this and he stated that my refund was sent on Thursday the 14th. It’s up to my bank to release it now. So I’ll be calling my bank this morning. I’m with USAA
My bank still hasn’t updated today and it normally updates by 6*am. :/

@Andrew I don’t think so. It didn’t get sent out Wednesday but rather Thursday for me. So for me, it wouldn’t have got to my bank in time to post for Friday and they don’t post on weekends. Monday is also a holiday so I’m 99% sure it will be there Tuesday.
@Keishab I’m not sure why they would need that info. I have never had to turn in any of that and this was my first year claiming my daughter. (Born 1/5/18)So, did Bob lie?
I claimed EIC and ACTC credits.Do you Think thats why they need my w2’s and Federal return papers??
What’s crazy is u have EIC and ACTC credits on my federal and I’ll probably have my federal first

They didn’t update at all yesterday! What in the world is going on?! Unless a deposit magically appears, I guess we all wait until Tuesday for more information. This is the most trouble I have ever had with them.
@schmom sorry I’ve been sick past few days, but mine updated the next day after speaking with the rep. unfortunately I had a tax debt and now am waiting for a letter for information. I called the offset line prior to all this and it said no debts owed so I’m confused.

The files have to be in .PDF format and just type in the email that you received a letter and the info is attached.

@Keishab I’d still send them theinfo they requested seeing as it’s your first year filing taxes. The fastest way is probably to fax it to their offices

@Keishab To be honest I have no idea. Only reason I can think of this year is because of the shutdown affecting them being able to compare what was reported. As for last year I filed before the opening date so I thought that was why they sent me the letter. However they never contacted me again after that letter
That sucks. My bank allows the use of the money as soon as it memos.
Well I won’t see mine till Tuesday at minimum. I called my bank to see if they do deposits on Saturdays and they said no after 4pm Friday central time. Anything after 4pm central time, it will post Tuesday since it’s a holiday Monday. Won’t even show pending.

I sent an e-mail, and he said it was approved and sent but not when, so guess I will just wait and see. What a frustrating tax year with KS.
I got the letter yesterday but according to the lady I spoke to earlier, my refund was already approved and was gonna be deposited

I got the same letter this year and last year asking for my federal tax return. The weird thing is last year when I got the letter I received it like a week or 2 after I received my refund. The same thing would’ve happened this year had my refund not been delayed because of the whole bank switch.

Hello I have a question.This is my first time filing state taxes in Kansas.I field both state and federal taxes on 1/29/2019.I emailed bob today and ask why i havent had any update on my taxes.He stated since its my first time filing they needed my w2’s and federal taxes information.My sister and filed for the first time and already received her money.Why do they need this information??

@Tricia Huntsman when i look my status up, it still says that my refund is being processed. In my experience the website either chnges the day of or a day before I receive my deposit

Yeah figured since i had nothing to on my day off might as well call. Hopefully it deposits for all of us tomorrow.
I really dont get why they say 7-10 day wait. Maybe for a paper check but even then it should take 1-2 days for arrival. This is direct deposit we are talking about, it is pretty much instant. At the minimum my bank would show a pending deposit. They are saying they sent it electronically and it takes that long…no. i could walk to Topeka in this weather and pick it up faster
Deposits do post on Sat, just depends on your bank.
Do they deposit on Saturdays normally?

So just for the heck of it i called the usual number and spoke to a lady who informed me that my refund was sent out yesterday and that it could take 7 to 10 days to arrive and that Monday is a holiday so it won’t count towards the date of arrival
Well this morning has been extremely disappointing. No money and just checked the status and it says it last updated last at 10pm still
@Andrew Very! I know of one or two days they updated 3 times in one day, but usually the first one is always around 6:30.
