I filed on 2/1, accepted same day, lost bars on WMR 2/11, received letter CP74 saying I successfully recertified for EIC on 2/28. I called last week and the rep said that nothing else was wrong and I should update within the next few days, but still haven’t updated. I called yesterday, 3/2 and the rep said that I was under review starting 2/12 and it would be up to 60 days. But the letter says “if you haven’t already received your return, you’ll receive it in up to 6 weeks as long there are no other tax debts we are required to collect.” If I’m under review, then why does the letter say “if you haven’t already received your refund, you will receive it…”, Doesn’t the fact that they said I will receive my refund mean that I am finished processing? Has anyone else in this situation (or know anyone) received this letter then update to a DDD? If so, how long did it take?
