hey all,
I’m on the same boat. I filed back in February. I called the TA, but she was no help as I was told there is nothing they can do since my return hasn’t been processed yet. Yesterday I called the IRS and they told me to just waite 8 weeks from August first. Is there anyway to make them process return sooner ? -

I filed my taxes March 14 2020. I’ve called no answer. I’ve been trying to figure out what is going on and still nothing. I filed with H&R Block and they seem to cant help me at all so I will not be going back to them for services. It’s hard and nerve reckoning to not know what’s going on and I really need my funds. I’m a single parent trying to get by and this doesn’t make it any better for me. Just want answers. No letter or anything. Can someone please help

Filed and accepted 2/22 still nothing. Has anyone actually got to talk to a live IRS person?
-
June 5, 2020 at 1:29 pm #4432924Alex r
Yup, called the IRS 5/22. They acknowledged that it’s been well past the 60 day mark for the 4464c letter, and she said she would send a notification to the accounts management department to expedite, but said it could take another 60 days. That’s completely unacceptable.

I did my taxes March 26,2020 and it’s still is telling me processing still and I have not got my 1200 from Caronavirus. I can’t get a hold of Irs to talk to anyone. This is unreal why are they not working from home to help the individuals that are having these issues. I am thinking I should of just went non filers and would of at least got my 1200 buck.

Filed on 2/21, got a 4464c letter on 3/5, and now it’s been 70 days. No way to contact them, which means no way to resolve this. I was told by a different department that the accounts management dept that handles income verifications is still shut down, with not a single employee handling cases. Why can’t these be handled but identity verifications can? It’s sensitive information either way…

I filed on April 15th, now it’s May 15th, still no tax refund. They owe me about $2k…
Their site just says “Your return is still being processed”. Seems they have no problem getting stimulus checks out to non-workers. That tax refund is my money, wtf.

My accountant efiled my return on march 25. I got my state refund back in about 3 weeks. My federal is still not here and i get the message “your return is still being processed.” I have not rec’d a letter from them that they may need more info (i did have a lot of uncovered dental expenses which i deducted. could that be why? But if so, wouldn’t they have requested the receipts?
-
May 8, 2020 at 1:48 pm #4431207Debby
Same problem here. I filed March first and it still reads PROCESSING. No letter in mail or no codes. I have no idea what the problem is because you can’t call the IRS. Well over 60 days and still waiting.

How many of us used turbo tax and still havent got our income tax refund. Mine says still being processed. I filed February 6. I have read many posts about people who are still waiting. 90% of the post I read said they used turbotax to file. Coincidence?? I think not.

Hey Ari, and others, I’m pretty much in the same boat. I’m still working now, about 55 hours a week, and find this incredibly silly that the Feds are good with sending me and everyone else checks for at least $1,200 but my $400 measly Tax Return takes months to see. Early February filer with very basic taxes mind you. From here on out I’m adjusting my amounts claimed on paychecks and not waiting for the IRS for anything anymore

@Winchell
I’m waiting for all 3 as well. I’m still working so I’m grateful. Although I do not depend on the government for anything. I do in fact deliberately over pay my taxes every year so I can have a decent return at the end of the year. I’ve learned my lesson though. I will no longer be over paying. They will get the bare minimum at best from me going forward. And to be 100% honest. I could give a shit less about the stimulus.
-
April 12, 2020 at 5:16 pm #4402710Winchell
@ W841T
Hell, I’m waiting on my Federal, State and now the Stimulus, all three.
Funny thing with the site and all the mentioning of Stimulus checks (which is really an entirely separate topic than Income Tax Returns, I agree), by the time I get any of the three payments I’m waiting on, a ton of these folks on here will have already long ago spent their’s and be broke again.
Bottom line, earn your money. Don’t rely on Government for a damn thing.

FIled 2/20. Wife called IRS 3/23 to see what was up. “Under random review. Wait 45-60 days. Expect letter from IRS.” 4/12 no letter. No movement.
P.S. I like how I got my refund has turned into. I got my stimulus 2020. Unliked FB page because of this. Can’t even find info or testimonials from others regarding their refunds. Stimulus info everywhere. While the majority of us sit and wait.
-
April 12, 2020 at 4:15 pm #4402688Mimi1013
So since the irs website is updating maybe there will be some major movement on Monday!! Hopefully my taxes will be released or the stimulus will be deposited. Has anyone else’s noticed that banks such as chime cash app and Walmart have already deposited but big banks I.e chase boa citi and Wells Fargo haven’t 🧐🧐🧐

How do I call the IRS? My return was accepted on 2/27 and the “where’s my refund” tool says that my tax return is still being processed and “A refund date will be provided when available”. What happened? Did I make a mistake filing? It’s never taken this long!
-
April 8, 2020 at 2:30 am #4400255ProudFatherOF1
@Bem unfortunately w/that msg from WMR your tax return isn’t processing. Your going to have to call and find out why and what info they need from you to be put back into processing

Filed 2/10, received letter 3/2, faxed 1095 and 8962 3/6, still processing. No transcripts, called IRS told me nothing to do but wait until May 1. If nothing by May 1, then call. Couldn’t even tell me if they received the fax! This is the worst tax year yet!
-
April 4, 2020 at 4:46 pm #4399635
@misty8007: Misty, I should think you should know, yourself, which one is correct. (Assuming you used direct deposit), your money should already be there, as yesterday was 4/3. WMR is usually reflects activity from two days earlier; however, a number of posters here over the years have reported getting their refund even while WMR says it’s being processed.
-
April 4, 2020 at 1:50 pm #4399603

My tax transcript says my refund was issued 4/3/2020 but where’s my refund says your tax refund is still being processed. Does anyone know which is correct?
-
April 4, 2020 at 8:07 am #4399511ProudFatherOF1
@Dalesha I F/A 2/21 lost bars 2/29 and got the dreaded “your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available” msg. Called 3/6 was stated I needed to IDV. Did that 3/16 went from “still being processed” to “ we received your tax return and it was being processed”. More then likely your return isn’t processing and your going to have to call once they open to see what’s going on with it
-
April 4, 2020 at 7:59 am #4399509Dalesha
I filled 2/19 and was accepted on 2/19. Had one bar saying processing. After a week it disappeared. Only have the
Your tax return is still being processed.
A refund date will be provided when available. Its been over a month going on 2 months
-
April 3, 2020 at 7:49 pm #4399406Dadof4
@geraldine
I called earlier today and it changed to 4/20 total applied to my account and 4/15 for two out of 3 deposits so it updates every week it seems so I’m still holding in before I go on a public Kanye rant about this seem like I’m really getting my unemployment and stimulus money before my taxes lol sucks but hey I wonder if the people I congress and at the irs holding there own taxes to this kind of pathetic my belief -
April 3, 2020 at 2:28 pm #4399341Geraldine
@Dadof4 when I called it says the same thing on the 15th of April. Filed my taxes on Jan. 18. Its been 2 months and still no refund!!! SMH
-
April 3, 2020 at 9:01 am #4399250
@JessA89 I ran into the same problem. Out of the 4 reps I contacted only one actually got back to me and she could only refer me to the national TA service which I had already done.
-
April 3, 2020 at 8:22 am #4399234ProudFatherOF1
@JessA89 I do apologize to hear that. I know it can be quite nerve wrecking. It is getting to the weekend. I’m not sure what state your located in but you can google your states congressman and contact them to see if they can put you through to a TA. Just let them know your situation. It doesn’t hurt to give it another try to someone. I’ve seen ppl contact there states congressman as well
-
April 3, 2020 at 8:09 am #4399232JessA89
@ProudFatherOF1 I did as you recommended and they could ONLY tell me about my state taxes, which went through just fine. She gave me the same Federal number I already had, and didn’t even know they weren’t accepting phone calls.
So even if something is holding it up, it appears I can’t do anything and won’t even receive the courtesy of being told what’s wrong.
-
April 2, 2020 at 10:17 pm #4399158Edith Olivas
Well I applied on Feb 08 and still have not received anything. I have checked my refund status. All it says your tax return is still being processed. Should i call? or wait?
-
April 2, 2020 at 9:53 pm #4399153Dadof4
Ok it said credits withholding applied to your account on 4/15 Both transcripts and detail of account have those dates
-
April 2, 2020 at 8:36 pm #4399123
Those “several deposits for 4/15” are your credits, withholding, etc. While I haven’t heard the system you’re referring to, I believe I’m correct in saying that your refund hasn’t been approved (846) unless you hear the word, “REFUND.”
-
April 2, 2020 at 5:30 pm #4399080LArtis89
Dadof4 thanksssss mine said several deposits for 4/15? Hopefully it’s true 😬
-
April 2, 2020 at 5:31 am #4398956Dadof4
Also noted you need your letter CALLER ID NUMBER IN THE TOP RIGHT SIDE OF YOUR LETTER SENT BY THE IRS SHOULD BE A 6 DIGIT NUMBER
-
April 2, 2020 at 5:27 am #4398955Dadof4
after that it will ask you what year you want a description of your tax account you want to type in “2019” and after that it should give you info in deposits and day pls let me know if this is accurate mines said 4/15
-
April 2, 2020 at 5:27 am #4398954Dadof4
Also if anyone needs a guidance to get to that point I can help I called the number press “1” for English then press “1”saying I received a letter entered in my social sercurity number press “1” to verify it then It then gave me “6 option” to choose from and you want to choose “5” to get to where I was ( AT THIS POINT IT MAY ASK YOU CREATE A PIN DO SO AND REMEMBER IT)
-
April 2, 2020 at 5:16 am #4398952Dadof4
Has anyone called this 18008290922 irs number to get a detailed copy over the phone of a deposit or and update on your Tax account as of 21 days ago…I did and I had to set up a pin but got there and it says 3 different deposits going into my account 4/15 total the amount of my taxes I wonder if it’s accurate

According to unemployment office I’m one of the ones that wouldn’t qualify for unemployment, since January I’ve been cleaning a few houses and watching people’s kids to have income, had to leave my job in December to help take care of my kids grandmother. Alot of ppl have told me that under this new bill that was passed that I would be able to qualify. I think we need a forum like this one where ppl can discuss unemployment ☺️

@5piece your welcome trust I had to self teach myself a lot of the little things I’ve learned off here over the years far as this yr I’m out the loop w/the curveballs they thrown but it took literally since 2015 of being on here learning daily vs weekly codes transcripts etc etc
-

I can’t even get thru to fax mine. The line is always busy. Been trying to find another fax number

@Jess89 Sumthin is holding your return IDV wages credits try to call your local state tax office and see if you can get through to a live person if not try leaving a message for them to call you back
-
March 31, 2020 at 7:53 am #4398585Jess89
So I filed March 4th, got the “still being processed” message a couple of weeks ago, no letter has been sent, no code updated, I’ve tried to call but they literally aren’t accepting calls.
Now what?
I need my refund more than ever right now, and I can’t even ask what’s wrong?
-
March 31, 2020 at 7:11 am #4398581ProudFatherOF1
@5Piece Your welcome yeah I didn’t know it either until I seen more ppl post about still processing. I wouldn’t had known anything haven’t I not called and asked. They would literally allow your return to sit and swear a letter had been sent
-

@Proudfatherof1
Thanks forteaching Me something. I really just realized why ppl were asking about processing vs. still being processed. Which makes complete sense. -

@Opieavery Unfortunately if you have “still being processed” something is holding it up. I would try and get a hold of your states congressman tell them your situation to get you a TA. Idk if that’ll help but it’ll get you some answers and in the right direction

I filled mine Feb 2 and it still says still being processed is there anyway I can find it any information on when I never received any letter either
-

Mine have been processing since the 15th of February. Today I check it and it says “status error” so I go and check my transcripts and 3 out of the 4 are fine except wages and income that says no return on file? What’s this mean…anyone?

My transcripts were blank and N/A until 3/23. I have not received any notice or letter. I did not call the irs this year because I had a similar situation with blank transcripts last year.

@funkyfrank
How long it took to resolve?
-
March 25, 2020 at 5:24 am #4396925FunkyFrank
@thicks I had to IDV 3 years ago and I had 570 and 971 on my transcripts. Also, I was weekly that year.
-
March 25, 2020 at 5:19 am #4396924FunkyFrank
@thicks I think I know why I have 570 and 971. I believe the irs has changed my deposit method from direct deposit to check. I think I will get 846 on Saturday.
-
March 25, 2020 at 2:57 am #4396918
@FunkyFrank, that means I was wrong. It’s not ID verification for you. Your 570 TC means there’s some other holdup.
At least, I didn’t get TCs 570 or 971 on my transcripts for having to IDV, so that’s why I’ve concluded your issue is something else.
-
March 25, 2020 at 1:49 am #4396912FunkyFrank
These are codes that I have on my transcripts 150, 806, 971 and 570. My cycle code is 20201302.

Revived Cp74 March 2 2020, was told I’ve successfully recertified for the credits claimed in 2019. Blah blah I don’t need to do anything at this time!!!! BUT I HAVE NO BARS, ABSOLUTELY NO MOVEMENT. Called IRS, rep left me on hold for 20 mins. Couldn’t find any reason why my return is being held 😭 -

I’m in the same boat with you all brittney did your change last night or earlier today and is it wmr or transcript I’ve been waiting since the 1/28 and accepted 2/2 haven’t got my 60 day letter at all and they said I should receive it by today this is just weird my time experience this the only thing I changed was put it into a Netspend account instead of my normal banking
-
March 16, 2020 at 9:11 pm #4394728GoFigure
@Brittany
You have a DDD for 3/23? I’m confused. Is this on ur WMR or ur transcript..or perhaps u are reading something incorrectly. -
March 16, 2020 at 7:36 pm #4394711FunkyFrank
2/27 filed/accepted
3/8 lost bars got to still processing and tt152 but lost refund amount
3/15 still processing with tt152 and refund amount returned.
I did not have any credits. I have no W2s. I have sch C , 1099 int, 1099 r (took a 401k withdrawal), 1099 b, and several 1099 misc. I did not have insurance through the marketplace so no 1095a.
My transcripts are n/a. No codes or cycle date. My account transcript has an as date of March 23. My wage and income transcripts is blank.

Return accepted 1/31 and today(3/15) WMR still says “your return is still being processed”…
Talked to irs by angrily bypassing their menu a week or two ago and got the same “60 day review period” speech as well, in my case that’s actually looking to be accurate…
-
March 14, 2020 at 9:23 am #4393514Brittany
I filed on 1/29 and my bars disappeared. I called irs last Monday was told I’m on a 60 day review starting 3/16 well todays 3/14 and now I have a DDD of 3/23! I really feel the irs was bullshitting everyone with false 60 days reviews so they don’t have to pay interest fee to everyone for giving money late! Just glad I finally know somethin now!
-
March 14, 2020 at 9:20 am #4393511Mari

Yep and I just checked my transcripts. Shows a code 570 with a date 3/16/20? Does anyone know what this date means? I’ve received no letter, nothing. I also ready that they have a new software this year (LUCKY US!) and it’s pulling almost everyone – “under review”. I bet the IRS people are going just as nucking futs as all of us waiting for our money.
-
March 10, 2020 at 1:39 pm #4391598Lu
970 code on transcript future date and code for EIC and credit to account future credit. what does the 970 mean. I also got 570 code Additional account action pending.

My WMR has no Tax Topic even though I claimed my children and there is still no bars but says they received my tax return and it is being processed. It’s been 9 days tmrw since I Verified my identity so I’m confused
-
March 8, 2020 at 8:48 pm #4390717Kayla
YES! Mine says this same thing! I checked the WMR and it initially had only the first orange bar (received) and it stayed that way for 1 plus weeks. When I checked it after a couple of weeks it no longer had the status bar, but stated that my return is still being processed and that a refund date will be provided when available. Underneath that it said something along the lines of read this information pertaining to your tax refund 152
-
March 8, 2020 at 5:19 pm #4390638Misty
I also have the still being processed message. Can someone please explain to me what TC474 means? There was a year missed of filing that I trying to get straightened out, and this code is on that year’s transcript. The description says established non-filing of tax return. Under that is a TC971, but the date for the notice isn’t until March 16th.

March 8, 2020 at 4:18 pm #4390626Tammy pangaro
3/9, I was finally able to speak with someone last Monday morning at the IRS. It was because of the 1095A form. I filed with H&R back on 1/30. I just received the letter yesterday and took all the paperwork back to H&R today. She said now you have to wait all over again Do yourself a favor and call the IRS. That way you know exactly what is going on. They open at 7am. And that is the best time to call
-

Sounds to me like all the irs got this year is Korona computer virus contact has made them Slooooooooow doooooooowwwwwn. -_- well that’s all I can say filed 2/6 accepted same day state has already come but didnt see a dollar as it paid for fees and part of the loan I got before Christmas. But yet fed has nothing but still processing ddd will be provided when available. So they need too dayquil up and get this sh** on a roll
-
March 7, 2020 at 4:01 pm #4390305Gofigure
Yeh, I know there’s typos…however I hope the particular people get my drift. Anyway, it’s all good. We all will get a DDD at some given time …just be super proactive if in need, and hug ur kids each night (if it applies) knowing are doing what u can. Or call your mom/dad tell them hi. Have a good day
-
March 7, 2020 at 3:58 pm #4390304Gofigure
Im sorry, but I have to vent a little…some of these questions on this site are repetitive and exhausting …almost ignorant in a way. Take the initiative and thumb through some pages and look for the answers you seek, versus being lazy and just blurting dumb questions. (i.e., what does DDD mean, what does “as of date” on transcripts, my wmr don’t update Thursday night…why?, what is a transcript, etc). Omg 🤯
-
March 7, 2020 at 3:24 pm #4390290
@Joana That is such a blessing! I’m happy for those of us that finally got a DDD after waiting forever and I’m hopeful that the one’s that haven’t gotten a ddd yet, will have one soon. Please don’t sit around and wait if you’ve been waiting a month+, if you say you need the money, you need to inquire about it and make some moves…
-
March 7, 2020 at 3:08 pm #4390286
@Joana, for me WMR says:
“Your tax refund is scheduled to be sent to your bank by March 11, 2020.
If your refund is not credited to your account by March 16, 2020, check with your bank to see if it has been received.”The dates are in bold on WMR. The first line has the DDD (3/11), but some financial institutions may take longer to post it to your account, so we’re supposed to give it up to five days (hence 3/16 on the second line).
Are you reading the first line or the second one?
-
March 7, 2020 at 2:46 pm #4390281Joana
Now I’m a bit confused my transcripts 846 says 3/11 but when I long on its says on the war on 3/16 ?? Which one most likely would it be? 3/11 or 3/16?
-
March 7, 2020 at 2:10 pm #4390269
-
March 7, 2020 at 2:08 pm #4390268
Update: WMR updated today to “Refund approved”; DDD 3/11.
@Joana, are you sure your DDD is 3/16? Mine is 3/11, but they say if I still haven’t gotten it by 3/16 to check w/ my bank.

@thicks
I’m in the same boat as you. ID verified on 2/29 and status on wmr went from still being processed to being processed 2 days ago -
March 6, 2020 at 10:15 pm #4389886CatinBama
Filed 1/31 accepted 1/31 and been on still being processed for 3 weeks. Filed with turbo tax $180 fees and so disgusted.
-
March 6, 2020 at 9:27 pm #4389869
On 3/5 my WMR stopped saying, “…still being processed. A refund date….” Now it says, “We have received your return and it is being processed.” After I IDV on 2/27, they sent my return into processing. So now I expect I’ll get an update in WMR for a DDD of 3/11. (I can’t see my transcripts.)
Someone at the IRS needs to revise the wording. Instead of “Your return is still being processed,” it would be clearer and more accurate to say, “Your return is waiting to be processed.”
-
March 6, 2020 at 8:07 pm #4389823Dorsidhion
Filed/Accepted 2/12. Blank account transcript with no return filed since 2/14. 2/28 Received 4424c dated 2/25. 3/2, This past Monday, I lost my bars and got Your return is still being processed message. This morning 3/6 transcripts updated with refund issued 3/11
-
March 6, 2020 at 7:38 pm #4389819Britt
So I had the same thing happened. I finally called IRS and i was told I had to send in my 1095A form along with form 8962 and once received it would be 4-6 weeks before I would see my refund because I have to be out back through for processing and that I will now be treated like someone who paper filed. This seems to be a very common thing this year especially for those that filed using TT, because they didn’t prompt people to put in their health insurance info this year.
-
March 6, 2020 at 6:33 pm #4389795Jennie
I filled 2/18 and accepted same day. Filled TT still showing accepted. I call and recording says accepted. I dont see where it says a date will be coming. Should I be worried need this money to get out of debt badly.
-
March 4, 2020 at 12:46 pm #4388677
Filed & Accepted 2/13. Lost Bars & got the “still processing message since 2/24. Called IRS at 8:30am this morning (3/4) and was told that our return did not begin processing until 2/27. She told me as of right now I need to wait another 21 days for it be processed. She said I have no pending letters because our return is not being processed yet. I guess we just are in re-sequencing limbo.
-
March 4, 2020 at 12:38 pm #4388669Ryan B
I e-filed on february 6th, was accepted the same day for both federal and state..Its not March 4th and it continues to tell me that its processing..I am waiting to speak to an IRS rep now. I really dont understand this. I never had to wait more than a week for a return.
-
March 4, 2020 at 12:35 pm #4388665ProudFatherOF1
@thicks idk it’s weird because I had that msg back in 18’ and updated to a DDD. I had filed 1/29/18 and accepted lost bars that next Saturday morning 2/10/18 came back with a DDD 2/17/18 (Saturday) for 2/22/18 DDD
-
March 4, 2020 at 12:30 pm #4388662
It doesn’t seem to me that the message of, “…STILL being processed. A refund date will be provided when available,” is EVER a sign of progress; it’s bad news but doesn’t provide anything useful at all.
-
March 4, 2020 at 12:22 pm #4388655SEMO
I filed 2/8, accepted 2/11. Was on being processed with bars on WMR, week or more ago changed to still processing and no bars. Called the IRS this morning and they said they just show it as it’s still processing. EIC and ACTC but it’s the same as the last 5 years and I’ve never had an issue and always got it back near the time JH said we would. JH is no help, WMR is a joke.
-
March 4, 2020 at 12:15 pm #4388648
If I have an “as of date of February 24 2020”. On my account transcript what does that date mean?? Anyone know??
-
March 4, 2020 at 11:48 am #4388639ProudFatherOF1
@KS12345 Okay cause I’m trying to figure all this out. I filed & accepted 2/21 went from “we received your tax return and it is being processed” msg to “your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided” so I’m tryna figure out if it hasn’t been processed or has it resequenced or pulled for review???
-
March 4, 2020 at 11:26 am #4388627KS12345
@ProudFatherOf1 Filed and Accepted 1/29. WMR went to your return is still being processed a refund date will be given when available 2/15. No tax topics/codes provided. Called IRS there was a “glitch” in the system. Return went to errors department 2/1, left errors department 2/13. As of today, tax transcript still says “N/A”. I hope to have refund at end of March, which is 8 weeks from file date.
-
March 4, 2020 at 11:11 am #4388616ProudFatherOF1
@KS12345 what did WMR say before that msg
-
March 4, 2020 at 11:07 am #4388614KS12345
Finally, an update on WMR. It still states that my return is still being processed and a refund date will be provided when available, but I know have TT152 and my refund amount is gone from the side. IDK if thats good or bad. I will be contacting TT for some type of compensation though.

March 4, 2020 at 10:08 am #4388585
I just got off the phone with tax advocate to see if what lady at IRS told me was the truth about the transmission from Turbo tax not going thru. She actually told me about the same thing . She told me that my return is still processing due to a delay from the transmission and it is correcting itself and that it usually can take up to 6 weeks bc the process is a lot longer. She saw no issues just that my return is correcting itself and processing

Filed 1/28, got my letter 2/12 for 8962 since TT failed tens of thousands of people and didn’t prompt 1095….. faxed 2/13…..still no update, getting super irritated at this point. IRS said 8-10 weeks processing after receiving my fax.
-
March 4, 2020 at 7:30 am #4388494
So I just called to check on my state taxes as well (NC) to see if there was a transmission error and there was not they have my return and it is still processing. The man did tell me that this year the IRS have more forms that they have to review this year . In the past was only 3 forms and now it is doubled . They are looking and reviewing our taxes to avoid fraud issues. So of course this new format is going to take a lot longer to process.
-
March 4, 2020 at 6:57 am #4388482
I tried to contact turbo tax but of course they are closed. I am in NC and they open 7 pacific time. Will try back in a few hours
-
March 4, 2020 at 6:15 am #4388454
This is beyond aggravating we filed 1/25 it was accepted 1/28 like 2 weeks later it showed received and processing. I called last week she said it was a random review and we were to get a letter. Welp, still no letter and still no return. Kind of making me mad kind of relying on that money to pay a lot of things off, cause were struggling financially right now. Ugh
-
March 4, 2020 at 5:06 am #4388426Randall
Everyone calm down , the money is coming ,I know it feels like it isn’t but it is, I use tax act and we are all in the same boat, we are lucky to get anything from them, if we were foriener s living in USA we would be given big motels ,big loans etc but all we are wanting is are GOD DAMN money now where the he’ll is mine.lol
-
March 3, 2020 at 11:47 pm #4388355Arizonaone
Same with me. Changed to being processed and refund date will be provided when available. And TT NEVER asked for health insurance info this year. There was no place to put the info in.
So if TT IS the reason for this delay I’ll refuse to pay them their fee. Obviously there was some kind of glitch in their system if others had the same problem. I’ll never use them again. They suck.
-
March 3, 2020 at 11:45 pm #4388354Heather
has anyone talked to turbo tax and requested a refund for processing these returns incorrectly.I did mine 2.5 and i have the same message.
-
March 3, 2020 at 11:33 pm #4388346Melissa
I filed 1/21 and been stuck on being processed. I called yesterday and he said they send a letter out that day 3/2. I think they’re just behind. I filed with tax act so I don’t believe it’s only turbo tax
-
March 3, 2020 at 11:31 pm #4388343Tbim
Filed 1/21 accepted 1/22 identity verification letter sent and not received on 2/13 verified identity 2/28 was told there was no other issues and there is no update still. This is so insane ! When should I expect a update they said it could take 9 weeks which seems unbelievable being as I claimed the same child dependents and have direct deposit

I paid turbo tax $230 for them not to transmit my return! I mean if what they told me was true. I just can not understand how this could be happening. There are to many issues . I know IRas said my glitch was a transmission error. That they did not get my return like they were suppose to. Anyway I will be contacting Turbo tax tomorrow to see what they tell me.
-

I filed 1/25, accepted 1/27. First time with child tax credit. Still says received and processing. I filed with Turbotax. Called IRS today and they said they are waiting for an employment verification?? I asked my employer about it and they said they sent in all the paperwork before January 31st. I feel like the IRS might being blowing smoke up my a** because the company I work for has never had a problem in the 50+ years it’s been running.

I filed 1/27 got accepted 1/28 and WMR says we have received your tax return and it is being processed. It has no bars and it hasn’t changed the last 2 weeks I’ve checked it. I filed through H&R Block the last 5 years and this is the first time I’ve had to wait this long
-
March 3, 2020 at 1:59 pm #4388067JC
@millie you can fax them a 1095a and 8962 for to speed up the process supposedly.
-
March 3, 2020 at 1:56 pm #4388063Millie
I just called irs guy said it was sent to error Dept 15days ago which is a week after it was received and that letter hasn’t even been sent yet that I would get one in next 6 weeks. He also said 95% of the time it gets sent to error Dept because of the 1095a form…
-
March 3, 2020 at 1:12 pm #4388024Tiffany
Return accepted 1/27. Just spoke with the second agent I’ve talked to this season. 1st one said nothing is wrong. The one I spoke to today was very nice and helpful. She said I am under review and have to wait until April 10th as I am in review. She said no letters have been sent out as of yet so so far so good just in review. I’m happy to get more answers this call but WTF?!? I’ve never had to wait this long….
-
March 3, 2020 at 1:12 pm #4388023Gigglezz
I’m definitely thinking this all has to do with turbotax… filed 2/19 accepted same day changed to “still processing”on 02/22 and has been the same way since… I keep seeing a lot of us with the same issue mentioning that we filed via TurboTax
-
March 3, 2020 at 12:43 pm #4388002
I just got off the phone with an very helpful agent. She said I have to fax a 8962 and 1095A form for health insurance through the marketplace. Turbotax did not ask any health question when i filed my taxes and now i have to turn this in when it should have been done when i filed my tax return if they had of asked the questions in the first place.

So annoyed by this message. I understand on identity theft but this is not the case for many when you been claiming the same children for years.

March 3, 2020 at 8:41 am #4387856KS12345
I’m one of the TurboTax errors. A total joke! Filed and Accepted 1/29.
-
March 3, 2020 at 8:09 am #4387832Maribeth
I have the same message and I have no kids, nothing itemized at all. They’ve accepted mine on February 5th
-
March 3, 2020 at 7:33 am #4387808
Called IRS yesterday and lady finally told me that my return did not transmit correctly they Turbo tax and it is being done manually. She said it would take 8 weeks so I am looking a refund 3/30. I do not have and child or EIC credits we use personal/ business and have deductions. I was stuck on still processing for a few weeks with tax topic 152. Transcript was showing N/A. She said she has seen a few of these cases
-
March 3, 2020 at 3:16 am #4387766Geraldine
Me and my husband filed our taxes on 1/18 and the IRS accepted on 1/21. It is now 3/3 and the WMR is still saying processing.

@dashredd true dat… I looked at my 2018’s return in my iPhone and seen a pix of when I filed 1/29/18 accepted same day approved 2/17/18(Saturday) for DDD of 2/22/18(Thursday). Like there’s billions and billions of ppl in the world y’all do not have that type of man power let alone technology to fine tooth comb every filer
-
March 2, 2020 at 10:30 pm #4387683
Filed and accepted 1/27… same job, same return prepared by same company filed online and still “processing”. I do have an EIC but is same as before. I even went back and checked refund dates for last five years… ALWAYS DD by Feb 26. With so many people experiencing delays I am beginning to wonder if this is a delay tactic to accrue interest on our money. I had planned a Spring Break trip for my little ones and I’m starting to worry.

Yes, call 800-829-0582
When the robot starts talking, immediately dial 652. Don’t press anything else, like 1 for English, etc. That will get you through to the humans and will tell you how long your wait time is estimated to be. Good luck! -

I called the IRS today and lady told me the issue with me was when I e filed thru Turbo tax that it did not transmit. She said they are having to manually prepare my return just as if I mailed them. She told me it would take 8 weeks so I should be looking for a refund end of March. She said she is seeing a lot of these errors.

Is there a difference with WMR saying being processed and “still“ being processed. My boyfriend filed a week before me and still has no date, no letter, but the word “still” is not there. Can’t get transcripts because his number can’t be verified
-
March 2, 2020 at 5:58 am #4387121It\’s me
Filed/ accepted 2/2. Actc . Had 1 bar, tt 152 until the 15th. Bars gone, no tax topic, “still being processed a refund date will be provided when available”. As of an hour ago still only able to see the wage and income transcript and it says no record of return filed. This is so frustrating.

Accepted 02/19Everything looked normal i had 1 bar showing
then on 02/22 lost bars and went to STILL PROCESSING with no tax topic but amount and info is still showing on the side.
I was hoping for an update today but still nothing. Has anyone lost bars and had still processing with no tax topic received their return?
-
March 1, 2020 at 11:11 pm #4387059Andrea
Yes. I filed they were accepted 1/27. 2 weeks later the bar disappeared with the message still being processed. I called Feb 26 and they told me I was choosen for an extra review that takes up to 45 days. The review begins March 9th and ends April 23rd. That If everything is right I will get my refund on April 23rs or I will get a letter from the IRS April 23rd.

@Qbaby check your transcript and see if they have your wages recorded, it may be income verification. I discovered that today. The IRS bsn this year for some of us.

The lady at IRS told me over the phone they update every night and there are no major updates during the week. No Wednesday nor Saturday updates they update every night. I am just wondering what to believe. She also told me to stay away from Internet forums 🤣 🤣

@spookyrides is it the account or return scripts I need?
-
February 29, 2020 at 4:36 pm #4386509
@Proudfatherof1 you can still order your transcripts to come thru the mail. Sucks as it will take 5-10 days but if your still waiting, at least you can check your codes that way and see where they are at with your forms.
-
February 29, 2020 at 3:01 pm #4386462ProudFatherOF1
@TheSachaFromLA Yeah I think we the next batch that’s experiencing what the early filers went through. I said I was gonna Che k next Saturday since I’m a weekly update and nothing happens for me throughout the week. It sucks being a weekly and can’t order transcripts it’s like your left in the unknown

Well @ProudFatherof1 it looks like I’ll be looking for your updates specifically since we seem to be the closest to the same situation.
My plan is to give it until Wednesday and then next Saturday before I start moving into next steps.
-
February 29, 2020 at 1:19 pm #4386395ProudFatherOF1
@Erin dang I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully y’all be able to get your son to his appointment. This has been a strange tax season no rhyme or reason to the whole thing. I am noticing that ppl that are or have gotten letters are getting DDD’s right after so I’m hoping it’s the same situation for us. And trust I know it’s expensive up north, I used to live in DC and they taxes and rent is ridiculous smh

Yes, I filed January 29, 2020. I’ve been filing the same kids and job every year. Recieved a letter yesterday dated February 19, saying my refund is being reviewed for accuracy……WTF……..Checked for a date today still no date…this is getting beyond me😓
-
February 29, 2020 at 11:28 am #4386329NotAgain

“I’m beginning to think that the head of the Executive Branch has issued instructions to punish those whose financial situation appears to fit a profile that he believes is against him.“
Seriously? Do you think maybe, they are just behind due to being understaffed and underfunded because the government as a whole just sucks at running things? I guess making yourself sound like a victim of a vast conspiracy to punish the poor makes better sense to you though, right?
-
February 29, 2020 at 10:36 am #4386295
Unfortunately, I continue to read that junk on WMR after filing 2/4 and verifying ID 2/27. Admittedly, that was only 2 days ago, but it’s not my fault that they waited 20 days to generate the letter. Just because my refund had to be on hold until 2/18 doesn’t mean they couldn’t have begun taking care of the other things they thought were necessary for prompt processing!
I’m beginning to think that the head of the Executive Branch has issued instructions to punish those whose financial situation appears to fit a profile that he believes is against him.
-
February 29, 2020 at 9:33 am #4386199Over this already
When is the next update?
-
February 29, 2020 at 8:48 am #4386198Erin
@proudfatherof1
No letters at all! It’s just annoying, we have to take my son to a doctor’s appointment in Boston in two weeks and we don’t live in Massachusetts, we were kind of hoping we’d have a little extra money in our account to help offset the expenses..Boston isn’t cheap 😂😅
-
February 29, 2020 at 8:34 am #4386190Melissa Vijil
My former employer didn’t filed taxes for us last year (BUT HE DID DEDUCTED FROM OUR PAYROLL). I did my taxes with my last paystub as a reference. I am just hoping this issue doesn’t delay my refund this year!!
-
February 29, 2020 at 8:14 am #4386173
So I was accepted with turbo tax on 1/31 and about 2 weeks ago got tt152 still processing called IRS when I received message and lady then said no issues. So I have no child credits no earned income just deductions. I called the other day lady said no issues are showing still. Got my transcript online and it says N/A but my wage and account show for 2019 but shows nothing but no return has been filed. Can someone please tell me what is going on????
-
February 29, 2020 at 7:18 am #4386141ProudFatherOF1
@Erin I don’t believe it’s a dependent issue I believe it’s a IRS issue. Have you received any letters in the mail?
-
February 29, 2020 at 6:57 am #4386122Erin
@proudfatherof1 this is my first year with a dependent so I’m worried I did it wrong
-
February 29, 2020 at 6:48 am #4386110ProudFatherOF1
@Erin Hello my fellow refund waiter filed last week with all info up until 3 this morning. Lost bars and info msg changed from…”we received your tax return and it is being processed” to “your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available”. Can’t order scripts because I have no credit card nor loans and I own my car. I think that qualifies me??
-
February 29, 2020 at 6:45 am #4386108Professor Klump
Filed 2/5
Acceptance 2/5Two weeks ago I went from one bar , and no transcripts to STILL BEING PROCESSED.
Call IRS yesterday (Fri 2/28) the woman was very helpful, and she found I was on a ID verify, but could not understand why notice had not been sent out.
Who has done ID verify and how long does it take??? -
February 29, 2020 at 6:40 am #4386106Erin
Filed 1/15
Accepted 1/21Still no update on WMR and I haven’t received anything in the mail regarding a review or anything. I tried to order tax transcripts but I’ve always bought my cars outright and don’t use credit cards or anything and I still rent so it wasn’t an option for me. Anyone else in the same boat?
-
February 29, 2020 at 6:08 am #4386077MADMA
Nothing for me still I’m over this season!!!😡
-
February 29, 2020 at 6:07 am #4386076
Chill everyone, I was freaking out bc I got a 4464c/60 day review letter on Monday that was sent on 2/20/20. The people who were in the same boat and I all got WMR updates today for 3/4/20.
In most cases, these reviews are delay tactics for IRS.
I did call IRS today and file application to expedite review due to hardship. But others who also got updates today with 4464c letter did not.
-
February 29, 2020 at 5:24 am #4386059ProudFatherOF1
@ TheSachaFromLA exactly me too. I never went into losing bars and info a week after I file. Idk what that suppose to mean that quick. And a friend of mine filed two days after me and got a DDD and his refund already like WTF???
-
February 29, 2020 at 5:09 am #4386054TheSachaFromLA
Just like back in 2016, I have no tt and my refund amount still shows. But no bars. I file with my usual identity pin that’s mailed to me for the last 5-6 years or so. My address changed but I had already updated the IRS last year since the pin came to the new address.
This is the fastest it’s gone into “uh-oh” territory for me ever lol.
-
February 29, 2020 at 5:05 am #4386051ProudFatherOF1
@ Anon R SMDH so now we’re basically getting the same treatment as like the early filers? TBH I don’t think there’s no rhythm or reason to this. It’s either you make the cut or don’t. I have informed delivery with usps so ima keep a eye out on their app for what mail comes in. I know I’m in for a real treat ugh 😩
-
February 29, 2020 at 4:59 am #4386046Anon R
Yup. Same situation. I mailed mine in and for the past week there was a bar and it was accepted. Then today I checked and the bar disappeared and I have the “still being processed” message and I have Tax Topic 152. My transcripts are n/a as well. Frustrating indeed ugh
-
February 29, 2020 at 4:37 am #4386037ProudFatherOF1
@ TheSachaFromLA I just got that same damn msg lost all INFO!!! WTH does this even suppose to mean NOW???
-
February 29, 2020 at 4:35 am #4386035TheSachaFromLA
Hi All.
I JUST filed on 2/23 and early this morning on 2/29 I immediately got the “still processing” message after one week.
Oy, this is giving me anxious flashbacks of my 2016 filing year debacle. *rubs temples*
-
February 28, 2020 at 7:13 pm #4385807BluMagic13
@NotAgain
I’m the same as you. Filed 2/3, credits, stayed at 1 bar until 2/21, then went to “still being processed.” Called today, I have to send a 1095a. The agent said the letter was sent out 2 days ago. So waiting for the letter sobi can submit the info. Also filed TurboTax.
-
February 28, 2020 at 6:56 pm #4385755NotAgain
Filed and accepted 2/3 eic and actc
Stayed at 1 bar and tt 152 until 2/18
2/18 updated to still processing and a date will be provided when available. Transcripts still show n/aNo and behold today i got a letter requesting more info. Need me to fax my 1095a form and 8962 seeing turbotax never sent it over smh

@Vivian Allen
Same! I’ve been an identity theft victim since 2013 and have always filed with a pin. Haven’t we been through enough?! -
February 28, 2020 at 4:28 pm #4385690
Yes and I still have not recieved a letter from anyone, plus I am already an Identity Theft so for the last 5 years I have been filing my taxes with an IP Pin Number, and I had to verify my identity in person downtown Atlanta at the IRS Headquarters, what more do they want now??
-
February 28, 2020 at 4:18 pm #4385683Jasmine
I filed 2/3 with TT and was accepted the same day. I have been stuck with the same message “still processing” with the code 152. I have never been through this and it is very annoying. When will the IRS update they website again?

@ Kate
Have you checked your transcripts. There was a big update today with DDD for next week. If you don’t have access to them, WMR will update overnight tonight. So we’ll see 😉
-
February 28, 2020 at 11:52 am #4385474Kate
filed 1/27 accepted 1/27 we get the child tax credit. it originally showed accepted with an estimated payout date of 2/17/20, but then on 2/14/20 the estimated pay out date vanished. its now showing no payout date and it says We have received your tax return and it is being processed.
this seems to be taking a super long time. we e-filed with turbo tax and we see no errors in our forms
Anyone have advice or thoughts ? -
February 28, 2020 at 11:52 am #4385471rae
Filed early jan 11th, was accepted on the 27th everytime I visit the irs tracker tells me its being processed! Never had this issue before always received my refund or at least a day for the deposit. Was expecting it by now this is ridiculous.

-
February 27, 2020 at 9:45 pm #4384981
My prob is is that if there is an issue with our taxes, just let us know! We get more frustrated when they give us non answers ie: “Just wait the 60 days.”
This is our hard earned money we are talking about here. Give us the why and we will try to fix it! -
February 27, 2020 at 8:51 pm #4384954Jamie
Yep! I filed on 1/31 & I’m on a wage verification hold!
-
February 27, 2020 at 8:49 pm #4384953ValerieOK
I didn’t use TT, I used 1040.com. when I called yesterday she said mine was just “still processing”. It didn’t say I had a hold or review. She did say she’s noticed more returns being reviewed, but didn’t say mine was one of them. Frustrating.
-
February 27, 2020 at 7:55 pm #4384929JazzThee
A Tax preparer told me that the IRS was cracking down this tax season and they were not lying
-
February 27, 2020 at 7:54 pm #4384928JazzThee
I used HRblock and have never had this joker 60 day review B.S.
-
February 27, 2020 at 7:43 pm #4384923darkhonor1
i also have “still processing” but i called the irs and there saying an error occured during transmission from TT to Them. The error has been fixed and should see a DDD within 8 weeks but he assured me if no other issues happen during the processing stage i should recieve something soon. Filed 1/29 Eitc. accepted 1/29
-
February 27, 2020 at 7:09 pm #4384906
For me, it was also ID verification. My 5071C letter came in the mail today, dated 2/24. I filed 2/4, EITC.

-
February 27, 2020 at 4:50 pm #4384822
Filed: 2/10 (accepted the same day)
WMR disappeared: 2/19 (still being processed; TT 152 link; no refund amount; transcripts
NA)
Transcripts ready: 2/27 (this morning; DD 3/3; full refund amount; WMR still showing “still
being processed”)
Filing status: Single; no dependents
No EIC or education credits; private health insurance, itemized deductions -
February 27, 2020 at 4:44 pm #4384817MikeV96
Called the IRS and talked to a rep and she stated I was missing a form, and that my account was flagged. Faxed the form I missed 1095-A along with 8962 form. Hopefully it gets processed soon. I also have the “still being processed, and 152 tax topic”
-
February 27, 2020 at 4:44 pm #4384816
F/A 1/27
Stuck on processing for weeks. 60 day review. Question… is everyone that’s under review use TT this year? Just wondering. -
February 27, 2020 at 4:37 pm #4384810RlB1217
I filed electronically 1/31 and mine says still being processed. I just got off the phone with the IRS and she said there was some mistake, something happened (she couldn’t tell me what exactly) but that it had been corrected. But now my time frame of getting my return is 9 weeks from when I filed!
-
February 27, 2020 at 2:56 pm #4384695Heyhey

-
February 27, 2020 at 12:43 pm #4384635JazzThee
@Jay It could mean absolutely nothing, but with in my personal experience it means something… I have the same message with a TT152, I called the IRS on 2/26 & was told that they sent out a CP05 letter on 2/20 (I’ve yet to get the letter, at the same address forever) and that there’s nothing needed from me at this time and I just have to wait 60 days starting from 2/20.. If there’s nothing needed from me, I should see my refund between now and April 15th.
-
February 27, 2020 at 12:36 pm #4384626DWillmarth
Filed & Accepted 2/13 on TurboTax. One bar and tt152 up until today. Now we have no bars, no refund amount, “still processing” message, tt152 at bottom. Transcripts (both Account and Refund) was able to be requested on 2/24. Have not received no mail from IRS or notices. Never had this issue before.
-
February 27, 2020 at 12:29 pm #4384616Jay
Filed taxes on the 2/4/20. Had one bar and a tax 152 on 2/18/20. Now I have no bars. it said my tax return is still being processed. What does that mean?

Mine tax info was is being processed and I’m still under a 60 day review. Just got news today letter was sent to the wrong address that was updated last year because of being under review. In shock right now.
-
February 27, 2020 at 11:17 am #4384536Amanda
I filed 2/4/2019..(ya you read that right) it has now been over a year with still being processed message. I have called countless times and have got a different reason every single time!!!! Tried a tax advocate which I never got!!! Sent in all check stubs because apparently they cannot verify my husband’s income which he has worked for 11 years! Last year at this time when I would call I would get that same story of random review and nothing is wrong. So just a heads up dont beleive it!
-
February 27, 2020 at 11:01 am #4384522ramon
Hello, the same message appears to me, I received an IRS mailbox requesting 1095-A, I sent it 2 weeks ago, and even the message indicates that “it is still being processed”
-
February 27, 2020 at 10:22 am #4384486

I hope when they updated Saturday morning we all have a ddd I have never waited this long . :( -
February 27, 2020 at 8:57 am #4384365Gofigure
Mine says being processed ..not the still being processed message. Filed 1/28. It’s been like this since I filed and after the PATH lifted (path message popped up and disappeared on 2/15). Before path it had TT 152, after path message no tax topic.
-
February 27, 2020 at 7:56 am #4384308Miss One
I dont have a tax transcript for 2019. Does that mean they haven’t got to mine yet?
-
February 27, 2020 at 7:49 am #4384302Chymama4
I have the same on mine.
-
February 27, 2020 at 7:47 am #4384299MBPR
Where do I get a look at my transcripts and what do I look for?
-
February 27, 2020 at 7:29 am #4384273
Yes, but I claimed both credits. Filed & accepted on 2/5. Had bars & “being processed” until last week. Then bars gone and STILL being processed & TT152. Called today, system wasn’t showing much info, just that mine is still being processed. Asked about being reviewed, no just still processing. CSR mentioned she’s noticed ALOT more returns w/ credits are being reviewed this year. Hope this helps…good luck everyone!
-
February 27, 2020 at 7:24 am #4384266
I was accepted on 1/31 for tt 152 and still processing g about a week ago. Called irs and lady told me then that they never received my taxes until 2/5. I waited and called yesterday lady told me she saw no issues but I have never had to wait this long I have no credits just deductions. I went and got an online transcript and nothing showing yet for 2019. Does anyone know when next update will be????
-
February 27, 2020 at 6:39 am #4384203Flagirl
I have the very same message and was the the exact same thing- However, nothing has changed from the prior years except new employment! Guy from irs told me I’ll be getting a letter in 14days so I ask has it been sent out yet? That’s all he could tell me smh. I think we’re getting our returns next week! They just don’t want us to keep calling
-
February 26, 2020 at 3:32 pm #4382676Steve
My return says “still being processed”. It was accepted on 1/27. I claimed EITC on my return. The way I understand it is that it starts saying “still being” after you’re past 21 days.. I’m going to give it some time before I call.
-
February 26, 2020 at 1:05 pm #4382221Vguerra
Called the irs today they said my return is being reviewed to give them till 4/23. I filed 1/31 was received 2/4 and now just says still processing. Will someone please help I have 3 kids who are in desperate need of clothes and I need to know everything will be ok???
-
February 25, 2020 at 7:58 am #4375973lawaitin
I did. Good luck
-
February 25, 2020 at 7:54 am #4375958
@lawaitin
Insurance through the Marketplace isn’t required, but if you had it through the Marketplace and received a 1095a, you have to file it. IRS won’t accept your return without it.
-
February 25, 2020 at 7:52 am #4375954Jenny
Me!!! Same boat. When is next big update?
-
February 25, 2020 at 7:52 am #4375950
Did anyone get a 1095a that they didn’t file?
Sorry, I’ve been having trouble posting so posted again…
-
February 25, 2020 at 7:51 am #4375949lawaitin
@casandria
I don’t think the marketplace forms matter. Everything went well for me and the gov did away with it. It’s possibly filterx. Because of the path act -
February 25, 2020 at 7:38 am #4375903It’s me
Filed and accepted 2/2. Got that message on Friday after being at 1 bar. No tax topic anymore, transcripts say n/a. Just filled actc, no eic.
Nothing has really changed from previous years, other than my son turned 17 and my hubby is making a little more. So frustrating -
February 25, 2020 at 7:20 am #4375858Ashley
@bmr13
I remember you from last yr. I got my refund in May. So what did ur problem turn out to be last yr? I really don’t want to go through all this again this year.
-
February 25, 2020 at 6:34 am #4375732
If any of you had Marketplace insurance, make sure you filed your 1095a. TT didn’t prompt for it this year and it’s causing a lot of issues. They will not accept your return without it.

I have the same message.
Filed TurboTax 2/3
Received 4464C letter on 2/18 or 2/19
None of my info changed from previous years.
First time ever getting a letter
There is a LTR 4464C Forum going on as well on this site
Checked my transcripts…never knew anything about transcripts until I came to this site. I have the same 4 codes from previous years, then a 570 code as my last one saying addtnl info needed. My transcript shows a refund amount and a processing date of 3/9. -

Just hung up. IRS told me letter sent out 2/14 even though I was told no letters or flags when I talked to them 2/19. Letter was “in regards to health credit” WTF?, couldn’t tell me more or what I’d need.
Be advised folks- the IRS doesn’t seem to know WTF they’re doing this year and “Still being processed” is turning out to be a good indicator that there’s a problem with your filing.

@STARKS I agree. “We can’t all have something wrong with our returns!”

Guys please keep trying to call. I’ve had the same thing. I finally got through today and they told me that I’m “under review” I posted a thread in here about it.
They basically couldn’t tell me why that it was random and that it can take 60 days for completion. May not see my refund until April

Im starting to think a lot of early filers/ pathers were resequenced. Theres no way theres something wrong with everybodys return, esp the ones that say “still” processing and no movement on transcripts. We will update on the next one my people! (In Frank Gallaghers voice)

@swirlingcurls
That sounds really hopeful. But where did you come by the info? -
February 23, 2020 at 6:50 pm #4370386
Many people between that time phrase got resequenced so that’s whats causing the delay.

HRB confirmed today that the IRS initially was to release all of the funds to PATHers beginning on 2/15/2020. Not sure what the hold up is but the IRS is behind and will begin releasing funds again 2/27/2020. We may get our funds before WMR updates. If you filed through HRB or TT etc I’d give their customer service line a call, they seem to really know more than the IRS will say!

Accepted 01/31, waited 21 days and on 02/21 it updated to still processing. Called the IRS and was told that i should see some sort of movement on the 27th, not sure what movement or what the delay as they did not say there were any issues so i suppose will just wait and see.

Same, accepted 1/28 updated to PATH 2/1 … still on being processed.

Filed 1/30
Never had path message
Still being processed since the 16th
Still same message and no update
I have seen on ssa.gov where it says my 2019 earnings havent been recorded yet. I’m wandering if they havent recieved them from my employer yet or just havent updated them. If not maybe that’s the hold up
