Wow, what an awful experience. If the IRS was a company I did business with, I would switched companies a long time ago! Lol! We all need to compile all of our stories in to a pdf and each of us should send it to our state representitives.

That’s awesome, I’m happy for anyone that makes it through this awful process! How long has it been for you? When did they receive your form?

Thanks, you gave me hope! Lol! I try calling, but I just never have patience to sit on hold just to get a different answer. When my codes updated last year, my check was in the mail like a week later, so here’s to hoping you get yours soon! They have had their funding cut down every year lately, but come on! Update your systems already!

Good luck! I’m jealous, no updates for me today. The only update I have had this year is that my injured spouse form was received on 5/21…. Nothing since, was really hoping it updated today. Did you all look up your transcripts? When we’re your forms received?

Looking at mine from last year, my refund issued date was 8/18, the check was mailed 8/21. So, to answer your question, no but the check should be issued within a few days off that date, in my experience. If you haven’t, I’d recommend that you check your transcripts because it could show your cycle date and give you more information. It’s crazy…[Read more]

The IRS uses a code to identity it’s cycle dates. The first number in the sequence, 2017, is obviously the year. The second number, 31, is the 31st week of this year. The last number, 05, is the day of the week. I’m pretty sure that 1=Monday, 2=Tuesday, and so on. Your cycle date is the exact same cycle date that I had and I got my check this past…[Read more]

Hello! Just yesterday, Friday, I got an update on my transcript with codes 766, 290, and 971. It looks like you got those same codes and then shortly after you got the vaunted 846 code. (Swear I’m not stalking you, was just looking for others in same situation as me) Have you received your check yet? Hoping you did, this process is a pain in the neck!

It took them eight weeks for them just to receive yours? Or did everything go through and then they updated the transcript? Everything I’ve read leads me to think that the transcripts and wmr never update. Just my observation, could be completely wrong.

Did you file yours with your refund or by itself?

I e-filed and mailed IS by itself, I keep checking online transcript but nothing updated, mailed in about 3 weeks ago. Do they update the transcript once they receive my IS? Or just after they process everything?

    • It might take 4 weeks or more sometime less. Mine take abt a month be4 it updated.

Took 8 weeks after I mailed my IS form in for anything to change on my transcript
