    Kaycee Messmer I

So, I was accepted on the 19th, hit the PATH on the 24th, and been stalled ever since. Figured why not talk to all my PATHERS, and see where everyone is. An, come next week, we can all rejoice in refunds together!!

Called the IRS, because i was curious and had hoped I would get one of those “really nice” agents to help me. Anyway, I was told:

21 days from the opening day of tax season (1/29), is Feb 19. If you return was accepted prior to the 29th, you can call on the 19th to check your status, but the Treasury Department, who handles the release of refunds, will begin processing the backlog of PATH ACT returns on 2/15. The IRS is “estimating” that MOST returns will be released between 2/16, and 2/22. WMR will begin updating for PATH ACT returns on 2/16, and please be patient as there are already over 3 million backlogged refunds waiting to be released!

Not sure if this helps anyone. It didn’t help me out!
