I haven’t been able to view my transcripts waiting for my code to come in mail. No update on WMR. Hoping in the morning I’ll have some good news!!!

Called tax advocate on 03/05/2018, told l was picked under random review should wait for later to arrive by 03/12/2018.
No letter received

971, 03/12/2018
290, 04/02/2018
03/13/2018: code 846 fund released

@Jason same happened to me. 971 after ID verification.

I also have 570 and 971. 570 dated 3/19 and 971 dated 3/26. I had to ID verify around 2/26. I called the IRS last week Friday for an update. I was told that the 971 referred to the ID verification even though the 971 posted to my transcripts weeks after I received my ID verification notice. Not sure if that’s accurate or not, but that’s what they told me.

None for me either. first I had the 570 then I looked a week later I had 971.
