The wait is upon us once again this year. I filed my taxes as early as I possibly could which was January 7th this year. My federal return has already been accepted as of January 13th. We will now wait and see what happens and when I’ll get my taxes. Most likely Aprilish, I pray much sooner, I have debt I need to pay off and we just had a new baby….which means I need a new vehicle to fit us all in.

I have a problem guys! I filed the IS form this year on 1/31 because the hotline said I would be offset this year again. Two days after I filed i got a letter saying I will not be offset after all!! Am i still going to have to wait the 11 weeks? I called the IRS and they told me something about waiting 30 days. Is there anything i can do to speed up my refund? Anyone have experience with this?

How do you file so early? I don’t even get my W2 until the end of January.
